How To Transfer A Call In CircleLoop

Here is how you make a call transfer in the desktop and web applications.

CircleLoop allows you to transfer both internally to the other users on your CircleLoop account and externally to your contacts or any number of your choosing.

 

 

Internal Transfer

Step 1: Access Transfer Option

  • While on a live call, locate and click on the transfer option displayed on the call screen.

Step 2: Navigate to Internal Transfer Options

  • By default, the transfer options are accessible within the "users and teams" tab internally.

Step 3: Select Recipient

  • Type in the search bar or scroll through the list to find the user or team you intend to transfer the call to.
    (Note: Teams are listed at the bottom.)
  • Click on the desired recipient from the list.

Step 4: Confirm Transfer

  • You will now hear the dial tone waiting for the transferee to answer.
  • You can wait for the transferee to answer the call before clicking transfer or click to transfer before the transferee has answered.
  • Choose "transfer" to proceed or "cancel" to return to the caller.

 

External Transfer

Shared/Personal contacts

Step 1: Access Transfer Option

  • While on a live call, locate and click on the transfer option displayed on the call screen.

Step 2: Navigate to External Contact Options

  • There are two contact tabs available.
    • Shared contacts - This will present a list of contacts set as shared which will be visible to every user on the account
    • Personal - This will display a list of contacts associated to your user only

Step 3: Select Recipient

  • Type in the search bar or scroll through the list to find the user or team you intend to transfer the call to.
    (Note: Teams are listed at the bottom.)
  • Click on the desired recipient from the list.
  • This will present the available numbers to transfer to associated with the contact.
    Select the number you wish to transfer to.

Step 4: Confirm Transfer

  • You will now hear the dial tone waiting for the transferee to answer.
  • You can wait for the transferee to answer the call before clicking transfer or click to transfer before the transferee has answered.
  • Choose "transfer" to proceed or "cancel" to return to the caller.

External Number

Step 1: Access Transfer Option

  • While on a live call, locate and click on the transfer option displayed on the call screen.

Step 2: Navigate to the External Number Option

  • Select the external tab.
  • Enter the number you wish to transfer to
  • Click the green call icon

 

Step 4: Confirm Transfer

  • You will now hear the dial tone waiting for the transferee to answer.
  • You can wait for the transferee to answer the call before clicking transfer or click to transfer before the transferee has answered.
  • Choose "transfer" to proceed or "cancel" to return to the caller.
