Setting Each Number to Have its Own Voicemail

Voicemail is generally enabled for a User or a Team. However, if you wish to have specific voicemail settings for an individual number you can follow this guide.

To do this you need to assign a number to a team and with each team you can record a voicemail for when calls aren't answered or when you are out of hours.

Here are the steps to follow:

1) Add a Team

  • Go to settings
  • Teams
  • Add Team+
  • Name it
  • Add any Users (yourself)
  • Set Out of Hours

Change the Call settings to appropriate voicemail requirements

2) Edit Number

  • Go to numbers (under the administrator heading)
  • Click on your number 
  • Assign it to your new team

Repeat this process for each number you want a different voicemail for.
