CircleLoop Presence (Status) Model

Our presence model allows for better call management and a more flexible approach to handling calls in CircleLoop. Make sure to set your status appropriately to ensure seamless communication within your team.

We've updated our presence model in CircleLoop to better support call waiting (Currently available to a select group of desktop users) and provide you with more flexibility when on calls. This enhancement ensures that your availability is clearly communicated to internal users and that your call notifications align with your preferences.

Status Options

In the CircleLoop app, you can now set your status to one of the following:

  • Active

  • Away

  • Busy

  • Do Not Disturb

  • Custom (allows you to input any text you like)

Each status is associated with a specific colour for quick and easy recognition:

  • Green - Active

  • Yellow - Away, Custom

  • Red - Busy, Do Not Disturb

What Each Status Means

Green Status (Active)

  • You will receive call notifications as normal.

  • Internal users will see that you are available.

Yellow Status (Away, Custom)

  • This status indicates to internal users that you prefer not to answer calls at the moment.

  • You will still receive call notifications.

Red Status (Busy, Do Not Disturb)

  • You will not receive call notifications.

  • Internal users will see that you are unavailable.

  • If a call is made directly to a user in a red status, the call will follow the user’s out-of-hours settings.

  • Teams Calls: Calls to a team will still ring all other available users within the team but will exclude the user who is set to busy or do not disturb.
