Attended & Blind Transfers

When in a call, you can transfer the caller to another contact or number using the transfer icon in the dial pad panel. Once selected, you can choose from a Blind or Attended transfer.

 

Blind transfers will transfer the call to the recipient and the call will be ended for you.

Attended transfers will transfer the call to the recipient but will allow you to speak to the user prior to transferring the call. You will also have the option to cancel the transfer and return to the original call if required.

Desktop

From either a Blind or Attended transfer, your internal and external contacts will be displayed as separate sections.

You can scroll and select or search for any contact and then choose the right number to transfer the call to (where multiple numbers are listed for a contact)

If the call needs to be transferred to a number thats not in your contacts list, type out the phone number in the text box. Click the ... and you will have the option to transfer the call to that number. 

iOS 

If the call needs to be transferred to a number not in your contacts list, you can use the dial pad icon  to manually enter a number. To return to the contacts list, use the icon.
