How do I import contacts from my mobile device?
Sync contacts from your mobile device’s contact book so they appear in the CircleLoop apps when making or receiving calls.
You can sync contacts from your mobile device’s contact book into CircleLoop using the mobile app. This allows your personal contacts to appear within the CircleLoop contact list when making or receiving calls.
Contacts can be synced from both iOS and Android devices.
Sync contacts from your mobile device

Open the CircleLoop mobile app

Tap Settings

Select My Contacts

Choose one of the following options:
Sync all phone contacts – imports all contacts from your mobile device
Select phone contacts to sync – allows you to choose specific contacts to import
If you would like these contacts to be available to other users in your organisation, enable Share my contacts.
Once you have made your selection, the CircleLoop app will take a few moments to sync your contacts.
Editing synced contacts
Contacts imported from your mobile device cannot be edited directly in CircleLoop.
If you need to make changes:

Go to Settings

Select My Contacts

Choose Delete contacts
This will remove all contacts that were synced from your device.
You can then update the contact details on your mobile device and sync them again.
Where to find synced contacts
Once synced, your contacts will appear in the Contacts tab within the CircleLoop apps. This will appear within the Personal Contacts section unless the imported contacts were set as shared.
