Opening Port 5060

To setup your SIP device, port 5060 must be open on your network.

Why port 5060 is required

SIP desk phones use port 5060 to register with CircleLoop and handle call signalling.

If port 5060 is blocked by your router, your device may:

  • Fail to register

  • Show as offline

  • Be unable to make or receive calls

Opening port 5060 on your router

  • Port Forwarding

  • Applications

  • Gaming

  • Protected Setup

Please refer to your router manufacturer’s documentation for specific instructions on how to open or allow port 5060.
