My desk phone was used with another provider - how do I set it up for CircleLoop?

Learn how to reset and clear existing provider settings on Snom and Yealink desk phones before registering them with CircleLoop.

If your Snom or Yealink device has previously been registered/ purchased with another telephony provider, you may have to overwrite the default settings in addition to Factory Resetting the device.

First, get in touch with the original telephony provider and ask them to release the handset(s). Some providers remotely preconfigure handsets to work with their service. Once released, the device will then not then try and connect with the original provider when powered on. 

For your specific model, search online for how to factory reset the device. Once reset, you can then get in touch with our support team on support@circleloop.com and we can provide configuration files along with how to upload this to the device. 

Please provide the device model, MAC address and CircleLoop user you would like this to be applied to.
